    Fabulous images!!! When I see such beautiful pictures, I always ask myself the reason why there are no more like that today. Mostly, these old cards we discover very talented artists.

    The artist is Harriett Mary Bennett, as you can see the initials HMB on each postcard. She was an English artist who illlustrated many children's books in the late 1800's and early 1900's. I have a Pinterest board with her illustrations. I haven't been able to find out much about her though.
